Hi. I'm Eric — I'm Mr. Script.

I'm an independent web developer and security consultant based in the Pacific Northwest. I've been writing PHP professionally for over a decade, and I've spent that time working on everything from small business sites to complex multi-tenant web applications.

The "Mr. Script" name started as a bit of a joke, but it stuck — and it fits. I'm the person you call when the code isn't cooperating, when you need something built properly the first time, or when you want someone to look at your codebase with fresh eyes and tell you what's actually going on in there.

Security became a focus area over time because so many of the bugs I was finding for clients weren't just bugs — they were vulnerabilities. I got tired of finding the same problems over and over on codebases that had never had a proper review. These days I work with clients on both ends: building secure code from the start, and reviewing existing systems for problems before they become incidents.

How I work

I work with a small number of clients at a time — by choice. I'd rather do a few things really well than spread myself thin across a dozen projects. When you work with me, you get my full attention on your problem, not a ticket number in a queue.

I communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and don't disappear once a project is done. If something I built breaks, I fix it.
